Description

The aim of the association is to fight discrimination and to favour the social promotion of the most vulnerable publics (young people, women, unemployed, immigrated persons) by supporting their participation in European mobility programmes. We try to develop the maximum opportunities through different European and international programmes:- EVS (European Voluntary Service): since 2000, we send more than 300 volunteers in European program countries; we develop projects with Euromed countries (already with Marocco,Algeria,Tunisia), with Belarus and Ukraine, Caucasus, with South Eastern Europe countries and Balkans. We also host volunteers on a long term project.- We develop sending and hosting short term projects for disadvantaged young people.- Voluntary projects in Bolivia, Benin.- Leonardo da Vinci: 3 approved Leonardo projects- Grundvig 2: Participation in the PYDOP project (CZ-ES) for the analysis of obstacles towards labour market for adults with uncompleted education- Quebec: development of internship placements in Quebec organisations - Asia: placements.

The project "Cultural Clusters – to be discovered" has been realized by Millennium Center Association in collaboration with Ofensiva Tinerilor Association, Arad, uphold by the European Commission, through the European Voluntary Service, in the framework of "Youth in Action" program. The project is also supported by Arad City Hall and Arad county Council.
