All it started in a cold evening of february, a call:Ok Mihai, we are here in Suplacu!!! . And the things happened so fast after that call. Two cars were awaiting for me in front of a shop, new faces sorounding a my only point of contact with the group Carmen.
Ok Mihai, we are in hurry, so meet everyone, this is... and this is.. and this is... The names were coming like an avalanche, smiling faces, some words in english, spanish french. Too much for me, my attention was overloaded. I need a cofee, my brain was asking for one!!!
After some days me, Carmen, David, Ruben, Lise and Amandine we took our morning cofee, we were happy to share opinions, and ideeas. Some of the volunteers were changing their opinion about romanians. Everybody was so excited about the presence of the foreign volunteers in Suplac, they welcomed them very warm. All it was much over my and their expectations.
Moments, beautifull moments, passed since that moment: the first activity, our first local volunteer, our first argue, partyes, pool matches, cooking together, meeting more new persons, gathering around us a beautiful group of young people, the first time that we missed eachother when one of us was away from the group... AND MORE
Now the group is smaller but it has the same attitude... We are bold!!! we will be bold.
The people are asking me each day, Where are the volunteers? So do I!!! Where are you guys? I miss you!!! The summer awaits for our ideeas, energy to do things that other are only dreaming to...
